Homework reinforces what is learned at school and instills good work
habits. Assignments are generally practicing a skill already learned in class, which means students
should always know the directions of their assignments when working on
them at home.
Children should complete their homework as soon as possible after it is assigned. They should also read for 20 minutes each night.
If you feel that your child is spending too much time on their assignments, please let me know so we can work together toward a solution.
